Dynamic Signal, BuddyMedia, acquired by Salesforce.com. Co-Founder, Media6degrees ( now Dstillery) DoubleClick (Acq-Google). Board @Interclick-Acq by @Yahoo, 2011. I love that i have been in the digital space since 1997, and had the fortunate opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the space in every chapter of my career. Each chapter I learned more than the previous. Prior to Dynamic Signal i was Vice President, Business Development at Buddy Media ( acquired by Salesforce.com in 2012 ) where I oversaw both global agency relationships and global partner relationships. Prior to joining Buddy Media, David co-founded Media6Degrees ( now Dstillery) , where I helped build the first of its kind technology that provided major brand marketers with targeted audiences using the power of social graph data. Prior to Media6Degrees David was Vice President, Media, at Didit Search Marketing, where he created SearchConnect™, the first integrated media platform that combined Search Data & Display advertising with Re-Targeting. Under his direction, SearchConnect won the ClickZ Marketing Echo Excellence Award in 2007 for Best Behavioral Targeting Personalization technology. David began his online career in 1998 at the time, a small, little tech company called DoubleClick, which has since merged with Google, where he spent four years in various sales management roles. In each of the companies I have been a part of, i have been fortunate to experience tremendous growth David draws his strength from his wife and twin girls, and enjoys an occasional golf game, although not very good at the game. He currently resides in New Jersey, and obtained B.S. in Business/Marketing from The Ohio State University

  • Why I Love Groupon by Dave Morgan (Online Spin on 02/17/2011)

its no so much how we may love Groupon, but love the possibilities with this model. I must say, I scratched my head a few times when the folks at Groupon turned down 6 billion from Google. I actually thought that Google was doing them a favor and ridding them of any future headaches. Why? This model can be duplicated and we all know can me improved drastically. how? Technology, something i believe most of these models lack currently. Can they improve? Absolutely, I am sure they never imagine this type of growth so quickly. If there is one business Google can duplicate and potentially own, its the " groupon " model. Why? They have users, They have distribution, they have technology, and they have a self service model which these customers can buy media to promote locally.
