  • Kanoodle, a provider of sponsored links for search results and content pages, has named ANDREW ZUCKER as senior vice president of sales. Zucker will focus on growing and maintaining Kanoodle's existing client base and further developing the firm's outreach to advertisers and their agencies. Previously, Zucker was vice president of partner marketing at IAC/InterActiveCorp where he spent seven years. In his most recent position, he was responsible for advertising sales across the entire network of IAC sites including Ticketmaster, Match.com, Evite, and Citysearch.

  • TED SANN is leaving BBDO Worldwide. In his position as vice chairman and chief creative officer of BBDO North America, Sann was primarily responsibile for the creative work of the network's headquarters agency in New York. David Lubars, president Fallon Worldwide and executive creative director of Fallon North America, is returning to BBDO where he was head of BBDO West before joining Fallon in 1998. Lubars will lead BBDO North America as chairman and chief creative officer.

  • GRAHAM WOODALL is joining J. Walter Thompson as executive vice president, executive creative director. Woodall most recently served as EVP, executive creative director of D’Arcy New York until the agency was absorbed by Publicis in 2003. Woodall will lead the JWT Chicago creative and production departments, help set and implement the creative vision for the Chicago office, be responsible for its creative product, and spearhead the recruitment of top creative talent.

  • PAUL MASON has been promoted to senior vice president of ABC News. Mason will have day-to-day responsibility for "Nightline," "This Week," ABC News Radio, "World News Now," "World News This Morning," and "Good Morning America’s" news inserts. In addition, Mason will oversee ABC News’ coverage of the upcoming political conventions and general election. Mason joined ABC News in London in 1981, where he was covering race relations as a fellow for the Overseas Press Club.

  • PETE SAKALOWSKY has joined National Geographic Adventure magazine as account manager. Sakalowsky will be responsible for managing all of the advertising accounts in the southern California territory. Prior to joining National Geographic Adventure, Sakalowsky served as southwest advertising manager and West Coast footwear manager for Runner’s World magazine in Los Angeles and earlier as the magazine’s northeast advertising manager in New York.

  • After 38 years, LEONARD COHEN, president and CEO of Kelly, Scott & Madison, announced he is stepping down and has appointed JONI WILLIAMS as KSM's new president. Williams joined KSM in 1992 and most recently served as the firm's executive vice president of business development. Cohen will remain at KSM as chairman.

  • MICHELLE MARINO has been named vice president of sales with Univision Radio National Sales in New York. Marino joined Katz in 1994 as an account executive and was promoted to senior account executive in 1999. In 2000, she was named NY sales manager, her most recent position. Prior to joining Katz, Marino worked as an account executive at WXRK-FM in New York.

  • JOE RAPOLLA has been appointed vice president of consumer marketing services at Universal Music Group in a recent announcement that unites the advertising and consumer relationship management departments. Rapolla and his team will now be responsible for managing all direct-to-consumer online and offline marketing and advertising efforts across the company and its 13 record labels.

  • AMP Agency, an Alloy Media and Marketing Company has hired KRISTIN TOLI as VP, strategic planning group, AMP. In her role, Toli will manage the strategic planning group and will supervise a team of six. Prior to joining AMP, she was the marketing communications manager for Very Fine Products, Inc.

  • Univision Radio has named REX D. CONKLIN as corporate media director. Conklin will be responsible for all Univision Radio media strategy, planning and analysis. Previously, Conklin was manager of broadcast media for Sears, Roebuck and Co., where he managed the national and local radio and television investment supporting all Sears brands, businesses, and formats.

  • Bigfoot Interactive, a provider of strategic, ROI-focused email communication solutions and marketing automation technologies, has promoted DEIRDRE NAMUR to the position of vice president of creative services. In her new role, Namur will be responsible for the continued expansion of the Bigfoot Interactive creative services offering and will work closely with the company's Fortune 2000 clients. Prior to Bigfoot Interactive, Namur worked for industry leaders such as: CMP Media, Ogilvy & Mather, and the Direct Marketing Association.

  • 360 Youth has promoted GARY THOMAS from VP sales to SVP, national sales manager. In his new role, Thomas will guide the strategy and direction of 360 Youth's national sales efforts and will oversee a 40-person staff across all regional sales offices. He joined 360 Youth in 2001. Prior to that, Thomas was VP, national sales manager of CASS Communications, a youth-audience media and marketing firm specializing in reaching the college and high school audiences.

  • Redstone Communications has promoted GAIL JOHNSTON from vice president/management supervisor to vice president/director of account service. Her new responsibilities include oversight of the agency’s account service group. She will also continue to have supervisory duties on selected accounts and serves on the agency’s management committee. The company also named BARBARA MILLER as a senior account executive. In her new position, she plans and coordinates marketing activities for a variety of clients.

  • Permission Data, an online direct marketing company, has recently hired LINDSAY MURE as director of partner relations. Her primary responsibility is to grow the Permission Data Ignite Network, a co-registration distribution network.
