  • Sarah Power
    Assembly
    Assembly, MDC's full-service media agency, hired Sarah Power as its first chief strategy and research officer. She will report to Martin Cass, CEO of Assembly and MDC Media Partners, and will be based out of the agency's New York office. Most recently, she served as chief strategy officer at Initiative, where she helped win the GoDaddy and Papa John's accounts. Before that, Power worked at MPG and at Carat USA. "I am delighted that Sarah has chosen to join us to lead strategy and research," said Cass. "She has a proven track record of working with blue chip advertisers, and will bring huge value to our clients and inspire our talented team."
  • Fabio Costa and Dwayne Koh
    Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles
    Saatchi & Saatchi LA hired Fabio Costa as executive creative director and Dwayne Koh as digital executive creative director. Costa will report to Jason Schragger, chief creative officer. He most recently served as executive creative director at TBWA\Chiat\Day, where he worked on brands including adidas, Netflix, The Walt Disney Company, The Grammy's and Miller Lite. He also led all global communication efforts for Louis Vuitton. "Fabio couldn't be joining our team at a better time," said Schragger. "He has an unparalleled portfolio of work and his groundbreaking creativity, global perspective and boundless passion are invaluable to an agency that is evolving and growing as we are. We're thrilled to have him on our side as we forge a new path and continue to make unforgettable work for our clients that reflect this level of game changing talent." Koh will also report to Schragger. He joins the agency from AKQA San Francisco where he was the lead global campaign and digital platforms creative on the Levi's, Jordan and Visa brands. "Dwayne's a deeply multidisciplinary and global creative who brings 17 years of unparalleled experience to Saatchi LA," said Schragger. "His ability to work across various digital channels makes him an invaluable contributor in terms of driving integration across our business.     Andy Clarke joined Publicis Worldwide New York as executive creative director on Cadillac, reporting to Andy Bird, chief creative officer, New York. Clarke joins the agency from Arnold Worldwide New York where he was global executive creative director. While there, Clarke led global creative for Jack Daniel's and Ocean Spray. His career includes executive creative posts at J. Walter Thompson New York, Carmichael Lynch New York and Saatchi & Saatchi, in both London and Singapore. "I'm delighted to have Andy joining us," said Bird. He's a real talent and has a fantastic pedigree of producing great work on iconic brands. And, he's another Brit, and will be able to understand some of what I say."

    WongDoody Los Angeles hired Matt Burgess as creative director. He joins the agency from Olson Minneapolis, where he worked for the last eight years in roles ranging from copywriter to creative director. Burgess will work with recently-promoted creative director Dennis Lee to lead the agency's efforts for Air New Zealand, National University and Cedars-Sinai. Before Olson, he worked at Campbell Mithun as a copywriter, producing work for brands including Nature Valley, Burger King, H&R Block, the United Way, to name a few.   • Laurent Ezekiel and Joanne Zaiac

    DigitasLBi promoted Laurent Ezekiel to managing director, New York region (including Atlanta). Ezekiel succeeds Joanne Zaiac, who was elevated to the newly created role of chief operating officer, North America. Both report to Tony Weisman, CEO, North America. Ezekiel joined the agency in 2003, and most recently served as global client services director, based in London. He will retain his global client services role on key relationships including GSK, Unilever and Shangri-La. In this capacity, he will continue to report to Luke Taylor, Global CEO, DigitasLBi. Zaiac joined the agency in 1999. She has served as president, New York, since 2005. Prior to DigitasLBi, Zaiac held senior positions at Wunderman and Y&R.
  • Michelle Palmer and Trina Roffino
    The Marketing Arm
    The Marketing Arm promoted Michelle Palmer to president of sports & experiential and Trina Roffino to chief client officer, a new position. Palmer, who has worked for the agency for 16 years, will report to agency CEO Dan Belmont, who previously led the sports & experiential practice. In addition, Palmer will continue to lead the AT&T business. In her new role, Roffino will create solutions for clients to deliver best-in-class services. She will also oversee the agency's strategic account leaders.
  • Aaron Sedlak, Felicia Zhang and Suzanne DeMaso
    360i
    360i hired three employees in its New York headquarters. Aaron Sedlak was named group creative director and reports to Pierre Lipton, chief creative officer. Prior to 360i, he founded Stranger NY, an agency which focused on developing digital content for Vevo, Montreal Canadiens, Prestige Brands, Red Bull and Ford Europe, among others. Prior to that, Sedlak was digital creative director on the VISA World Cup campaign working in partnership with Almap BBDO in Brazil. Felicia Zhang was named vice president, strategy and reports to Lee Maicon, chief strategy officer. Zhang previously worked at Nike, AKQA, Ogilvy and Cole Haan. Lastly, Suzanne DeMaso joined the agency as vice president of business development, reporting to Abbey Klaassen, chief marketing officer. DeMaso previously served as senior consultant at Roth Observatory International, where she conducted creative, digital and media reviews for clients including BMW, Sleepy's and PUR Water. Prior to that, she was business development manager at Draftfcb, where she secured agency wins including Kraft's Gevalia Kaffe, The United States Government's Office of National Drug Control Policy, Barclaycard and the retention of the Jamaica Tourist Board account.
  • Olivia Browne

    The Martin Agency London hired Olivia Browne as managing director. She will report to Matt Williams, CEO, and begin work in early summer. Browne joins the agency from 4Creative, Channel 4's in-house creative agency, where she was group business director. Browne began her career at AMV in 1999, rising to become a board account director in 2006, before joining 4Creative as a business director in 2008. Under her leadership 4Creative won its first ever Bafta for a digital idea and developed 4NewsWall, a news service told in GIFs. She will work alongside Daniel Fisher, an executive creative director who joined the agency from adam&eveDDB at the end of last year. Browne and Fisher's first task will be to find a planning partner to complete the management lineup. "We've always said we would take our time to get the right management team in place in London and it has been worth the wait," said Williams. "Olivia is one of the most impressive people I have met in this industry and has a unique background and skill set. She is a perfect fit for our Martin culture." Martin London opened in June, 2014.

    San Francisco-based agency Eleven hired Chad Leitz as creative director, tasked with leading creative executions and strategies across the Virgin America, Columbus Foods, and Oakley accounts. Leitz will report to Mike McKay, chief creative officer of Eleven. Most recently, Leitz was creative director at Google and prior to that a creative director at Apple and FCB Global. He also served as associate creative director for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Arnold Worldwide. Throughout his career, Leitz has created campaigns for Ocean Spray, Chevy, Sprint, Frito-Lay and McDonald's, to name a few. "Chad's industry experience is extremely impressive, and his insights and knowledge will be hugely valuable to the agency and our clients," said McKay. "He's worked with some of the world's most innovative and creative companies, and we're looking forward to growing together and learning from him. We're thrilled to welcome him to our team."

    We Are Social promoted Greg Eckelman to head of strategy, to oversee both the agency's Strategy and Research & Insight teams in the US. Most recently senior strategy director, Eckelman has more than a decade of experience in digital marketing strategy, planning, brand positioning, content and channel strategy and product management. Prior to joining We Are Social last fall, he was senior creative strategist at Code and Theory, strategy director at Big Fuel Communications, and held senior strategy positions at Grey Group, MRM Worldwide and BLiNQ Media. Filling Eckelman's previous role is Rebecca McCotter, who joins as senior strategy director. Most recently, she served as strategy director at Anomaly and vice president, marketing at Maker's Row. Before coming to New York, McCotter was founder of Nourish Co., a digital and social media agency in Australia, specializing in food and health & wellness lifestyle brands. "These moves are further examples of our investment in growing the strategic resources necessary to deliver social thinking to clients," said Rob FitzGerald, president of We Are Social.
