    Olson tapped Tim Sauvigné as vice president, connections strategy. Sauvigné will lead the agency's connections strategy and media team. Prior to joining Olson, Sauvigné served as vice president, group media director for The Martin Agency, where he managed integrated media services across multiple Global Fortune 500 clients. Prior to that, he spent three years at mcgarrybowen in New York as digital media director on United Airlines, Marriott International, Sharp Aquos, Martha Stewart Living and Northrup Grumman, and six years at Wieden+Kennedy New York, where he ran the client business for ABC, ABC Family and ABC News.

  • Nicky Bell and Jonathan Woytek

    R/GA hired Nicky Bell to lead its Los Angeles office and Jonathan Woytek as executive creative director for R/GA Austin. As senior vice president, managing director of R/GA Los Angeles, Bell will be responsible for expanding the agency's west coast office and lead the launch of new office capabilities. She will report to Sean Lyons, president, US, R/GA. Bell spent the first 18 years of her career at Ogilvy & Mather, seven in Sydney, then 11 in New York, where she rose to senior partner, worldwide managing director, running global teams on Dove, Kodak, Motorola and Avon. She was most recently CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, where she led the team to win ASB bank, Sanitarium, Coca-Cola, Air New Zealand and the New Zealand governments' Commission for Financial Capability accounts. "Nicky is a proven leader. She's transformed cultures, refocused and realigned agency capabilities, and contributed to significant growth of client businesses," said Lyons. "R/GA has big plans for its Los Angeles office and Nicky is exactly the right person to deliver on them."

    In addition to Bell, Jonathan Woytek joined R/GA as executive creative director for the Austin office. He will report to Chloe Gottlieb and Taras Wayner, both serving as executive vice president, executive creative directors, U.S. Prior to R/GA, Woytek was executive creative director at Periera & O'Dell. While there, he created work for clients such as Skype, LEGO, Hyatt, Godiva and Corona. Prior to joining Pereira & O'Dell, he spent 3 years as senior vice president, director of user experience for McCann/MRM San Francisco. Between 2000-2007 he worked at Razorfish and Publicis, working on clients including Adidas, AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, Mattel, Oracle, Red Bull, Samsung, Sony and Visa.     Publicis Seattle
    Publicis Seattle named Jason Tarantino as executive vice president, executive strategy director, tasked to work on the agency's T-Mobile account. He will report to Melissa Nelson, executive vice president, managing partner. Tarantino will be responsible for directing strategy for the T-Mobile business, leading a team of seven strategy executives working on the brand. Most recently, Tarantino served as vice president, planning director at RPA, where he handled traditional, digital, social and content strategy for Intuit's Quickbooks and Apartments.com. Prior to that, he worked at R/GA and Wieden+Kennedy, on Verizon, Levi's, Electronic Arts and Target. "Jason is an incredibly thoughtful strategic leader and we're thrilled to have him on board," said Nelson. "As a truly hybrid thinker, he's well suited to lead our growing T-Mobile strategy team here in Seattle."

    Assembly, MDC's full-service media agency, hired Khartoon Weiss as chief client and marketing officer. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of business development at MDC Partners. She will be based in New York and report to Martin Cass, CEO of both MDC Media Partners and Assembly. Before MDC Partners, Weiss was managing director and chief growth officer at MediaCom, overseeing the agency's North American operations and business development. Prior to that, Weiss was vice president of integrated marketing solutions at iHeartMedia, where she helped launch and lead the national, cross-platform division, working with American Express, AB InBev and PepsiCo, among others. "Khartoon has made a major footprint here at MDC, and I am honored to bring her on board to Assembly," said Cass. "She epitomizes the agency's entrepreneurial spirit and embraces our fast-paced, innovative culture. We anticipate continued successes with her onboard."

    FCB has promoted one and hired three employees in its New York office. Michelle Tang, most recently senior vice president, worldwide agency growth for FCB, is now chief marketing officer. She will report to Karyn Rockwell, CEO of FCB New York. The agency also hired Stu Mair as executive creative director. He most recently served as executive creative director at Grey for the last 16 years. Gabriel Schmitt was named group creative director. He most recently worked at FCB Chicago on brands including Bud Light, Valspar Paint and Kolcraft. Lastly, Raig Adolfo joined the agency as strategy and innovation director. Adolfo previously worked at Redscout, where he worked on Marriott, General Mills and Abbott Nutrition.
