Fall Arbitron Ratings

The Fall 2000 Arbitron Ratings were released last week and Los Angeles country radio station KZLA is officially the most listened-to country station in America with over 700,000 people tuning in each week. The station's ratings have increased in every targeted demographic: persons 12+, 2.2 to 2.6, +18% increase; adults 25-54, 2.2 to 2.8, +27% increase; women 25-54, 2.6 to 3.2, +23% increase; men 25-54, 1.9 to 2.5, +31% increase; Station 12+Cume (audience) 548,000 to 700,000, +28% increase.

"This is the highest cume number in the history of KZLA," said RJ Curtis, KZLA Program Director. He added, "This is a result of a great marketing plan, excellent music from Nashville and flawless execution by our entire staff."
