WSJ Online Passes Half Million Subscriber Milestone

Dow Jones & Company today announced that The Wall Street Journal Online passed the 500,000-subscriber milestone as of September 30, 2000. The leading subscription publication on the Web, WSJ.com has steadily attracted new subscribers since beginning to charge for its unprecedented coverage of business news and financial information in the fall of 1996.
