Saga Communications has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of WCVQ-FM, WABD-AM, WDXN-AM and a construction permit for a new FM radio station from Southern Broadcasting Corp.
Additionally, the company has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of WVVR-FM from WRUS, Inc. All five stations serve the Clarksville, TN - Ft. Campbell, KY - Hopkinsville, KY radio
market. Saga expects to close the transactions, subject to the approval of the Federal Communications Commission, in the first quarter 2001.
