NBA Ups Digital Coverage For All-Star Weekend

The National Basketball Association is enhancing digital coverage of its All-Star weekend in Dallas, with plans to stream 12 hours of live original footage on the Web. On Friday, NBA.com will feature video coverage of six NBA All-Stars as they conduct sessions with the media. In addition, fans will get a chance to ask players questions via Twitter.

The site will also present a live episode of its weekly interactive series "The Jump," featuring coverage of the NBA All-Star Jam Session. On the mobile front, sports fans can watch the All-Star weekend live on their smartphones. Plus, the league has launched the NBA.com All-Star Slam Dunk Live application for both the Android Market and Apple's App Store.
