Havas Advertising has announced the purchase of the Havas name from Vivendi Universal for 4.5 million euros. The Havas Advertising Group is expected to officially adopt the Havas name at the next
shareholders meeting. Havas was the Advertising Group's original name to which "Advertising" was added in 1996.
