CAM Systems Acquires Assets of eMadison

CAM Systems, LLC, a provider of traffic, billing and sales automation solutions for the cable television industry, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of eMadison's technology assets and key staff. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

eMadison's business proposition was to simplify the media buying process via a secure, Web-based infrastructure for media negotiation, transaction processing and account management. Built as an open platform, the software integrated to all parties in the media transaction, including ad agencies, media buying companies, representation firms, and media outlets.

eMadison was formed in August 1999, and received $12.9 million in Series A venture financing. Unfortunately, the company did not have the resources to continue to build and grow dropped under the radar in April.

CAM Systems is reportedly a strong and financially secure organization, with the leadership and management required to fulfill the promise of eMadison. President of CAM Systems Martino Mingione said, "The vision of eMadison meshes well our own business plan."
