Who Needs A Home Phone?

Wireless phone service is increasingly becoming a basic phone service for the American household, according to the latest report by Solomon-Wolff Associates, a New Jersey-based market research firm. According to Solomon-Wolff, more than half of households in the U.S. now use wireless phone service. In households using wireless phone service, the majority use two or more wireless phones. More than 16 percent of wireless users report that they use wireless for more than half of their long distance calls and nine percent report that they use wireless for more than half of their local calls.
