Traffix Acquires Knowledge

Traffix, Inc., an online direct marketing and database management company, has entered into a purchase agreement to acquire Infiknowledge, Inc., a Canadian interactive game development company. Under the terms of the agreement, Traffix would purchase the assets of Infiknowledge, which include an email delivery system, a suite of Internet games designed for direct marketing, and a team of approximately 30 interactive game and web developers for approximately $1 million. Traffix, which sent out over 1.1 billion direct marketing emails in its most recently completed fiscal quarter, expects that the application of the Infiknowledge email delivery platform will lower its email delivery costs by over 50%, resulting in savings of approximately $200,000 per month. -- Adam Bernard
