Red Bricks Becomes RBM, Tackles Dragons

San Francisco-based digital marketing agency Red Bricks Media is re-branding itself as RBM, as part of an effort to communicate its new philosophy toward media: "one that does not put paid digital media at its core."

RBM Chairman and co-founder Elliott Easterling said the new identity marks RBM's evolution from a search engine shop to a full-service digital shop offering search as well as creative, digital strategy, Web development, social media and mobile communications.

"Media remains an important focus in what we do but does not represent all that we offer," he stated, or the agency's new positioning.

As part of its rebranding effort, RBM has also created a new agency theme line: "There Be Dragons," a phrase it says was created to "denote dangerous or unexplored territories on historical maps.  The tagline underscores the agency's belief in the importance of leading clients into the uncharted areas of digital."
