If Only T-Mobile USA Had The IPhone, Things Might Be

Deutsche Telekom's CEO, Rene Obermann, in part blamed T-Mobile USA's lack of the Apple iPhone for its difficulty in keeping contract customers in the U.S., Archibald Preuschat reports.

"Consumers like T-Mobile but they also want to have the iPhone," which T-Mobile USA has no chance of getting in the short term, Obermann told analysts in Duesseldorf yesterday in explaining why the company had difficulty in turning around it struggling business here last quarter. Obermann also said he will present a new strategy early next year together with Philipp Humm, who became T-Mobile USA's CEO this week.

    How hard can it be. You go to Apple, you make a deal, you got the iPhone. It's not like you are trying to reinvent the wheel. Verizon is doing this, why can't T-Mobile. If T-mobile really wanted the iPhone, they could make it happen. Quit bitching about it, and fix it.
