Bacon’s Information, Inc. today announced that it has reached an agreement with Burson-Marsteller wherein more than 200 U.S.-based B-M professionals will use the company’s Web-based media relations
database and contact management system, Bacon’s MediaSource. The switch, authorized by the agency’s parent company, the WPP Group, was made after an extensive review of comparable services. Some of
the factors that led Burson-Marsteller to migrate its professionals to Bacon’s MediaSource were better data accuracy, ease of list building, and comprehensiveness of the media database. “Bacon’s
MediaSource fits well into our network of web-based tools that help our media professionals stay current with media developments – from personnel changes to editorial calendars,” said Gary Koops,
Chairman, U.S. Media Practice, Burson-Marsteller.
