The Ziff Davis Media Game Group announced today that Xbox Nation (XBN) magazine will increase its publishing schedule from quarterly to bi-monthly beginning with the February/March issue. Xbox Nation debuted in December 2001 with 48 pages of advertising, making it one of the biggest game magazine launches of the last decade. New advertisers in the current December issue of the magazine include Blockbuster, Motorola, and Full Sail, an educational software game designer. Xbox Nation provides information on Xbox games and accessories, offering news, game reviews and previews, along with targeted tips and strategies. A four-color bimonthly ad in the magazine costs $8,750. The one-time rate for a black and white ad is $7,000.
