CBS Leads Household Nielsen Ratings

CBS led all networks in total household rating and share during Thanksgiving week, with seven of the top 10 shows.

CBS’ 8.2 rating and 14 share during the week from Nov. 25 to Dec. 1 helped it maintain its slight edge in the season with a 8.6 rating and a 14 share. NBC measured a 7.1 rating and a 12 share with two of the top 10 shows. In the 10 weeks of the season beginning Sept. 23, it has an 8.3 total household rating and a 14 share.

ABC came in third with a 6.0 rating and a 10 share, with only Monday Night Football in the top 10. Its season-to-date rating is 6.5 and an 11 share. Fox scored a 5 rating and 8 share with one show, The Simpsons, in the top 25. Its season-to-date performance is a 6.1 rating and a 10 share. The WB measured a 2.7 rating and a 4 share (3 rating and 5 share season-to-date). UPN had a 2.1 rating and a 4 share (2.5 rating and 4 share season-to-date) and Pax had a 0.9 rating and a 2 share with a 0.9 rating and 1 share so far this season.

  • Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS), 13 rating and 19 share.
  • CSI: Miami (CBS), 12.4 rating and a 20 share.
  • (Tied) CBS Sunday Movie (CBS), 11.4 rating and 18 share, and NFL Monday Night Football (ABC), 11.4 rating and 19 share.
  • Law and Order (NBC), 10.7 rating and 19 share.
  • Still Standing (CBS), 10.4 rating and 15 share.
  • Judging Amy (CBS), 10.3 rating and 17 share.
  • JAG (CBS), 10.1 rating and 16 share.
  • 60 Minutes (CBS), 9.9 rating and 15 share.
  • Frasier (NBC), 9.8 rating and 15 share.
