Hulu Chief Exec Jason Kilar wrote in a blot post Wednesday that "traditional TV has too many ads," while Hulu's advertising is "2-times as effective as traditional TV video advertising."
Those sentiments probably won't sit well with Hulu's owners -- News Corp., Walt Disney and NBCUniversal -- all of whom are heavily invested in traditional TV.
Here are the responses
to Kilar's gaffe, according to the
Financial Times: "Walt Disney said Mr Kilar's views were 'personal and clearly not shared by anyone at Walt Disney.' News Corp declined to comment, and NBC
Universal could not be reached for comment."
