In a press release, ISIPP president and chief executive officer Anne Mitchell described the summit as the first-ever in-depth treatment of the state of spam and the law. "These distinguished experts... [will] explain exactly what one may, may not, should and should not do with respect to email practices and the law," she promised. The conference will also survey the uncertain state of email marketing in the wake of the passage of a federal anti-spam law. "If anybody thinks that the passage of the federal law makes things simpler for email senders or receivers, they are sorely mistaken," Mitchell added.
Conference sponsors include WhatCounts, eDeliverability, IronPort Systems, TalkBiz News and Informz.
