America West Airlines, in conjunction with SkyMedia International, announced the launch of tray table advertising. Prints will be located on the top surface of the airline's tray tables. Only one
advertiser per aircraft will be permitted under the agreement. Mercedes-Benz USA, Bank of America and The History Channel will be the first companies to provide advertisements on America West
aircraft, beginning Dec. 15. America West is the first airline in the U.S. to launch tray table advertising.
