Foxconn Workers Strike, Reports Denied

Foxconn, the electronics giant that assembles Apple products, denied reports of a strike in China. It said Saturday that production is on schedule, reports Reuters. The report of a strike was issued by China Labor Watch, a New York advocacy group; it came weeks after Apple the iPhone 5 rollout. Apple is already struggling with tight availability of the phones in stores. Thousands were said to strike on Friday, angered by over-demanding quality controls. There have been user complaints about the iPhone 5's aesthetic flaws. Foxconn also makes Hewlett Packard Co, Nokia and Dell electronics.
