Political media analysts like to discuss the presidential campaign in war-like terms. You know, "battleground states." In an analysis on the final "salvo" of the media blitz, Politico columnists note that for all the credit given to Obama's superior "ground superiority," his campaign has also been dominating the air: "Kantar Media's CMAG, counting every presidential ad aired from Oct. 24 to Oct. 30, found the Obama campaign aired twice as many [broadcast] spots as Romney - 35,731 to 17,277, with estimated spending of $24 million for Obama and $11 million for Romney."
