Hotmail Rolls out New Features

Hotmail customers got an upgrade to their e-mail accounts, courtesy of MSN. A host of features will be added piece by piece, the first of which started Tuesday. The added features will provide e-mailers with a Web-based organizer helping them to manage schedules, keep track of appointments, and coordinate with friends and family via an online calendar, task reminders, contact databases, and the like.

The features have become standard for many e-mail providers, like Yahoo!, which offers generally the same services to both their free and paying users.
