Momofuku Ko: Best Restaurant In A Token Booth

Momofuku Ko, the 12-seat East Village [New York] tasting counter, has taken top spot in Bon Apetit's list of most important restaurants now. Says Bon Apetit's "The Foodist," Andrew Knowlton, "What [owner David] Chang did was put it all together and turn a tiny East Village storefront into the most important restaurant brand of the past decade—on his own terms." Reservations accepted every leap year.
