Binge-Watching Brings New Era Of TV Theme Songs

The new era of binge-watching has made a catchy TV show theme song "more important than ever," writes Steve Knopper. "Now that viewers can watch any show at any time, a familiar song can provide an anchor for a series and preserve the sense of ritual attached to following it." And who can stand to hear a bad song over and over again?
