Hispanic community women's lifestyle magazine
Latina Wednesday said it will join forces with cable network Univision's Spanish-language Web site. Starting in December,
Latina will
provide Univision.com with content such as beauty, fashion, and style features, relationship advice, and career empowerment advice. The articles will be showcased on a mini-site within Univision.com's
"Mujer" (Women) Channel, and will include links to Latina.com and special subscription offers for Univision.com visitors.
"Everybody wins here. Univision.com's readers will get fresh,
award-winning content, and Latina will be exposed to Univision.com's six million unique visitors," said Latina's Internet General Manager, John DeMarchi. "Together we will provide an
unprecedented opportunity for advertisers to reach the total Hispanic market--a group whose purchasing power already exceeds $630 billion, and will reach $1 trillion by 2007."
