People are still reading magazines! Yes, "the number of magazine readers in the U.S. is actually up slightly, according to the latest GfK MRI’s Survey of the American Consumer, which tracks
print and digital magazine readership," writes Emma Bazilian. The increase is only about 1.6% though. Still, tracking pubs individually, some were up by significant numbers:
Teen Vogue (up
39%),
The Atlantic (up 34%) and
Esquire (up 29%).
