Rocket Fuel has announced the appointment of Simon Hayhurst as senior vice president of product and business development. He will lead the company's product management, product marketing and business development teams.

Hayhurst was most recently senior vice president of product management at YuMe. He has also served as senior vice president of marketing at Autonomy.

"I'm excited to join Rocket Fuel," Hayhurst said in a statement. "Nothing is more fun than the opportunity to join lovable nerds."
