The History Of Doritos

Here's the (maybe) story of the origins of the Doritos brand. It happens at Disneyland, essentially an extended experiment in brand engineering. When it first opened, it featured a Mexican-themed restaurant called Casa de Fritos run by the Frito company. It was on New Orleans Street near Aunt Jemima’s Pancake House. The Casa de Fritos invented the Dorito.
