The London start-up community is well positioned to be a global leader in developing the Internet of Things, claims Katy Turner, the newly appointed CMO of Tech City. It has already paired with the
Technology Strategy Board to release a GBP1m European grant fund to encourage entrepreneurs to build Internet of things-based services. The competition, unveiled in March, is open to the cluster of
companies in the London and Cambridge, but will soon go national.
