After a month of testing, which Twitter says went well, mobile-app install adverts will now be rolled out to news feeds. The mobile ads will provide links to Apple App Store or Google Play where
advertised apps can be downloaded. Such adverts are believed to now form the majority of Facebook's mobile advertising revenue. Twitter doubled its revenue in Q1 of this year, to $250.5m, but has yet
to post a profit.
