Following an embarrassing incident involving third-party apps, which threatened the privacy of millions of users, Snapchat has issued an stern warning about the dangers of using such services.
“Starting today, we will notify Snapchatters when we have detected that they may be using third-party apps, and we’ll ask those Snapchatters to change their password and stop using
unauthorized apps,” Snapchat wrote on its official blog. “The move is an effort to improve the security and reliability of Snapchat’s service,” The Next Web notes.
