Spammers Claim They'll Pay Consumers For Promoting Samsung Ad

Spammers have been circulating an email message that claims that recipients will receive $350 in exchange for driving around with a Samsung ad wrapped around their car or truck. Recipients who respond to the spam email are sent a legitimate looking check for $1780.45 and told to deduct their $350 and then send the balance to a national car detailer via Walmart money transfer or Western Union money transfer. The scam allowed thieves to access the accounts of the participants.
