20% of Marketers Use Behavioral Targeting in Email

Twenty percent of marketers are currently employing behavioral targeting based on web activity in their email marketing programs, a 43 percent increase over last year, according to a new report from Econsultancy. The  Email Marketing Census, which was carried out in partnership with Adestra, included insights from more than 1,000 marketers. The research also revealed that 39 percent of respondents are planning to use behavioral email targeting.
