FCBi Names Larrick CEO

  • January 10, 2005
Ad industry veteran Pam Larrick was named chief executive officer of FCBi Worldwide, the interactive arm of Interpublic's FCB, on Monday. Larrick until last week was chairman of Interpublic's MRM Partners, the customer relations marketing arm of McCann.

FCBi is responsible for the agency's interactive marketing, including everything from purchasing online media to creating streaming video ads, said Larrick. Clients include HP, Quest, MetLife, IRS, and Jamaica--a roster Larrick hopes to grow. "I like to build, and this was an amazing opportunity to me," she said.

Larrick, a veteran of Ogilvy & Mather Direct, will report directly to Foote Cone & Belding Chairman Brendan Ryan--also an Ogilvy & Mather alum. More recently, Larrick worked with FCB when her former shop, MRM, helped FCB defend the Samsung account. WPP Group ultimately won the brand portion of the consumer electronics giant's account, but FCB retained some marketing responsibilities.
