Flipboard is giving publishers, celebrities and brands ‘verified’ checkmarks on its news aggregation platform. The Next Web calls the move “a bid to help users quickly find what
they’re looking for in search.” Effective immediately, more than 600 accounts have been verified, with more on the way.
