Nexus Owners Report Sync Issues With Gmail & Inbox Apps

Nexus smartphone users are reporting sync issues with a number of Google apps including Gmail and Inbox. According to posts on the Google Nexus Help Forum many users have been affected by the bug that is preventing notifications and manual refreshes.
