Alleged Nigerian Spammer Awaits Trial in Texas

Nigerian man Amechi Colvis Amuegbunam is in jail in Texas awaiting trial for charges that he created documents and email domains to convince companies into wiring hundreds of thousands of dollars to offshore bank accounts. He is accused of collecting a total of more than $600,000 from 17 Texan companies in the fraud scheme which peaked in 2015.
