65% of Marketers Say Meaningful Call-to-Action Increases Clicks

Marketers are experimenting with a number of tactics to increase click rates, according to Ascend2's “Email Marketing Trends” report. The research revealed that 65 percent of marketers say that including a meaningful call-to-action offer is the most effective tactic for boosting click-throughs. In addition, 47 percent of marketers say that list segmentation for targeting is the most effective way to increase clicks.
