BitMessage Aims to Bring BitCoin Security to Email Communications

BitMessage is a new open source project that wants to make email communications more secure. The tool uses Bitcoin’s block-and-transfer system to decentralise and automate encrypted communications. The tool allows users to generate a key and passphrase and send end-to-end encrypted messages.
