A bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers is seeking answers to reports that Yahoo was scanning user email data and sharing the data with the FBI. In a letter to the DOJ and the National
Intelligence agency, organized by Representatives Justin Amash, a Michigan Republican, and Ted Lieu, a California Democrat, the lawmakers demanded to know more. "There is a significant confusion
regarding the existence and nature of the program described by these reports and the legal questions implicated by the accuracy of specific details," read the letter.
