45% of UK Consumers Have an Unused Ghost Email Account

Forty-five percent of consumers in the UK have so-called 'ghost' email accounts, aka emails accounts that are active but that they no longer use, according to research from DMA. The DMA Consumer Email Tracker 2016 research, also found that 62 percent of those consumers said they have abandoned an email address or would consider doing so if they felt they were receiving too many emails.
