Only one quarter of companies have made an attempt to use DMARC email authentication, according to a new report from VailMail that examined the corporate domains of 1 million corporations. Despite the fact that this form of authentication is the standard tool to protect customers and employees from phishing emails, only 60,000 companies included in the review made use of the technology. In addition, 75 percent of companies that do employ DMARC authentication don't use it to its full potential.
