Google to Store Data in Cuba

Google has struck a deal with the Cuban government to store some of its user data from services including Gmail and YouTube at a data center in Cuba. Cuba is notorious for slow connection times and the deal will likely decrease load times for Google services in the country. However, the deal is not aimed at expanding public internet access and speeds for non-Google services will not benefit from the deal.
