Russian Hackers Spoofed Harvard Email Address

Russian hackers ran a phishing scheme in the days leading up to the 2016 presidential election using a fake Harvard email address to spread the malicious message. The hackers users Kennedy School Professor Pippa Norris's paper "Why American Elections Are Flawed" loaded with malware. The email appeared to be from Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, which gave the email wide distribution.
