eMarketer Predicts 40 Percent Search Growth

Based on last week's Interactive Advertising Bureau report on 2004 online spending, research firm eMarketer is now forecasting that ad dollars spent on paid search will grow 40 percent, to account for $5.4 billion of this year's estimated $13 billion online advertising market. eMarketer previously forecast that paid search would come to $4.7 billion of the total online ad market.
