The Limits Of Email Personalization

Automated email personalization is a disappointment, according to a rant by Den Howlett on Diginomica. Howlett complains about “the ‘data gap,’ where there just isn’t enough information about your or my interests to allow for a good personalized fit to whatever content is available.” Then he explains what marketers an do about it.
