Online Shoe Site M.Gemi Opens Store, Gets Cash Infusion

Serial entrepreneur Ben Fischman has raised $16 million in investment for his latest venture: M.Gemi, an online shoe site. The company has opened a store in Boston, and is pursuing various forms of marketing. Fischman believes in “brand-building, and using e-mail marketing to add drama and drum-up business,” the Boston Globe reports.
