Fitbit Competitor Jawbone Calls It Quits

Jawbone — a pioneer in wearable technology that was once a darling of Silicon Valley — is going out of business, but its CEO and many employees have an unusual exit strategy: They’re shifting into health-related products, an area that deeper-pocketed rivals also are entering. CEO Hosain Rahman has founded Jawbone Health Hub, according to people familiar with the matter.
