Wink Bows Digital Ad Measurement

Wink Communications has developed a reporting system for interactive advertising and programming that breaks out the demographic and geographic data in its viewing households. These new demographic and geographic attributes can be used by advertisers to deliver targeted ads to a subset of the total Wink universe. Working with Experian, a global information solutions company, a series of industry-valued demographic attributes have been matched to the database of all Wink-enabled digital households. This now allows for an unprecedented level of reporting information to be delivered about the viewing behavior of Wink-enhanced national television advertising. The system was developed by Experian. Wink says it will issue reports on the reach and click results of ads as well as marketing data on purchase intent.
